Configuring SharePoint for RSinteract

To run RSinteract on a SharePoint server there are two options:

Move the RSinteract virtual directory

In IIS right-click on the RSinteract virtual directory and select All Tasks > Save to config file. Then choose or create another website in IIS and select New > Virtual Directory (from file). You may also need to configure the new virtual directory to use .NET 2 with Windows Authentication.

Exclude the RSinteract virtual directory in SharePoint Sites Managed Paths

This may only work on earlier versions of SharePoint:

1. In Administrative Tools open SharePoint Central Administration
2. Configure virtual server settings
3. Choose your web server
4. Define Managed Paths
5. Add a New Path – enter “/RSinteract” and check “Excluded Path” – hit OK
