Hi Tony,

We’ve seen this occasionally with some of your colleagues, first thing to do is retype the quotes, spaces and slashes as they get changed by mail clients and browsers – the double quotes should be the ones above the number 2 on a UK keyboard layout.

Otherwise you can create an empty text file called c:\formsauth.txt and run the installer again – the aim is to get the installer to skip the Report Server web service checks.

There’s a newer version of RSinteract with your test team that has a checkbox in the installer – hopefully it’ll filter through to you soon…

I am getting an error when i try to install RS interact with the /v”FORMSAUTH=1″ switch

Hi Sachin, If you don’t want to setup Kerberos you can configure your data sources to use a stored credential, see “Configuring remote data sources” here. The downside is that each user who has access to that data source connects to the database using the same credential, if you want to setup limited access for some users you have to create another data source with a different stored credential.

There are no browser pop-ups and you should be able to host RSinteract in an iframe – we’ve done some work recently which uses an iframe to put RSinteract in a SharePoint web part.
